What/ Fall Foliage
Where/ CVCN, Peninsula, OH
I woke up this morning and thought it's so nice I should go location scouting for Fall session. On the way to Beaver Marsh, people were waiting on the side of the railroad track around the corner of Yellowcreek and Riverview, with camera in hands. Before I remember anything, I made a u-tern and park my car on the side of the road, grab my camera, and join the crowd. A while later, the Special Guest of Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad – Ex Canadian Pacific 4-6-2 No. 1293 - was steaming down the railroad track! Lucky me, as today is No. 1293's final weekend in Akron. Very happy to had the chance to capture this shot.
Then I headed over to my destination, Beaver Marsh. My plan was to walk the whole trail to find awesome Fall backdrop for family portrait sessions. BUT-I think I was about half way to the Marsh when I got ran over by a (not so little) girl and her bike. No broken bones, just scratches and bruises, and so the trail was cut short.
Next stop was Szalay's Sweet Corn Farm. Lots of people were there to pick up pumpkins, to shop fresh produce at the farmer market, and of course, to get sweet corns. Definitely a nice hang out place for family or a group of friends for Fall fun.
Didn't forget to work. Here are two possible backdrops...
Corn Maze - Open Daily. 11am-6pm
and one last shot....from behind the wheel ;)
